Not strictly robot related, but it seemed like it was time to clean up the computer room a bit. I’ve had a horrible mess of boxes and cables that simply weren’t cutting it.

1 sheet of 3/4″ plywood and a couple of casters later:

Rails were made from 3/4″ steel angle drilled to a subset of rackmount spacing suitable for 4u units.  Paint is white and black Rustoleum, unintentionally mottled in a shabby chic style (in reality, I ran out of paint before I was done with the black layer).  It’s not a bad effect though.

Two inexpensive rackmount cases from Newegg, and an additional shelf of plywood with aluminum mounting brackets completes it.  Much, much neater.
